Wow! Comfrey is an excellent topical healer which contains allantoin - to promote cell regeneration and healing; reduce bruising and muscle aches. Add the powerhouse Arnica for quick relief of pain, bruising and inflammation.
Making it useful for:
Muscle & Joint Healing: bruises, minor, pulled muscles, minor abrasions, aiding in tissue repair. Many of my customers have found relief of painful shingles when using this salve!

Owie Herbal salve for bug bites, itches, scrapes
Wildcrafted, organic herbs and flowers combined with a tried and true herbal recipe from many herbalists! Including myself! Use liberally following wasp, mosquito, flies, ant bites - and accidental encounters with stinging nettle, poison oak, or other irritants. We sample this at the Baynes lake outdoor markets and have seen many babies/kids/adults find instant relief from painful wasp bites! We use it in Costa Rica every winter.

For many years, I have been making various herbal healing formulations for my family and friends. Like many herbalists or holistic practitioners, we tend to create based on oouror faour family's needs first. As always, I start with an offering to the plant; to our Earth Mother, Father Sky, Grandmother Moon and Grandfather Sun, in the Pagan tradition.
There are many excellent formulations on the market, and I have used some for my own arthritis in the past. As a herbalist, I understand that each plant has value and a synergistic action with other plants. As a Pagan, I understand that everything is connected and recognize the unique gifts that Nature provides. Our formulations are created from locally sourced herbs and flowers. I believe that our bodies recognize and utilize local plants better than others. Kind of like eating your local honey! Our plants are either wildcrafted in Southern Alberta/Southern British Columbia, or grown ourselves in our greenhouse.
